This model represents a Siskin of 43 Squadron, Royal Air Force.
Structure: Fuselage is a balsa and spruce frame with balsa formers supporting a fabric covered stringered outer skin. Wings are spruce spars and balsa ribs. The finish is doped nylon on the open areas with litho plate covering the aluminium panels.
Flying characteristics: Slow and stable, capable of basic aerobatics.
Current status: Dismantled after many years of use.
