The model represents aeroplane no. T9707 which was in the Manchester Air and Space museum at the time the model was built.

Structure: Fuselage is a sheet balsa box. Wings have polystyrene foam cores skinned with obechi. Finish is tissue and sanding sealer.

Flying characteristics: Steady and mildly aerobatic, an easy to fly model.

Current status: Severely damaged in a mid-air collision which ended in a tree, and scrapped.
