A series of pictures detailing the
Magister which used to be in the Manchester Air and Space Museum (now a
part of the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry). Includes cockpit
details, engine cowlings and under-fuselage detail. The Miles Magister was a basic trainer used to train pilots of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.
Taken outside normal museum hours in less than ideal lighting conditions, these pictures nevertheless reveal much detail. See below for a full list of views. |
