A series of pictures showing the Spitfire in the Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford. This is a late-model LF XVIe with clipped wingtips, cut-down rear fuselage and a bubble canopy. Views of the cockpit and the uncowled engine are included. The Supermarine Spitfire was a high-performance fighter aircraft used by the Royal Air Force and allied air forces during the Second World War.
